Maximilian
Kochendörfer

Racing driver from Stuttgart and happiest at the race track.

My story

My name is Maximilian Kochendörfer, and I was born in Berlin in 2003. I have always been passionate about cars and motorsport, even though I never took the traditional route through karting.

My interest started with Formula 1, but as I got older, my focus shifted increasingly towards touring cars like the DTM and various 24-hour endurance races.

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, real-world motorsport was on pause, so I turned to sim racing to pursue my passion. In 2022, I joined the Motul sim racing team. Being surrounded by teammates who all had real-world motorsport backgrounds inspired me to take the next step: in 2023, I obtained my racing licence and completed my first test day.

2024 marked my first-ever real racing season, which I finished as vice-champion in my class.
